Back in the 2000s Fenton was in a band. The band needed a website. Fenton built the website and unsurprisingly, it was pretty terrible. He kept at it and eventually people offered him money to build their websites. “Maybe this could be a business”, he thought. It took years, but Fenton eventually decided to leave corporate America behind and build websites full time.
He landed his first client as a full time web designer: Salt-N-Pepa.
Fenton also co-produces the top-rated business podcast School’s Over…Now What? hosted by Shawn Anthony. Since 2018 the top-rated show has racked up an all-star roster of guests including Seth Godin, Estelle, Grant Cardone, Amy Porterfield, Dr. Mathew Knowles, Ryan Serhant, and many more. He can be heard regularly on Clubhouse sharing business advice with aspiring entrepreneurs.
Prior to founding Olive Branch Digital, Fenton managed large scale digital marketing projects for global pharmaceutical brands, oversaw corporate communications for a nationwide mortgage lender, co-founded the world’s first and only Black owned microphone company, and produced music for chart topping artists. He consistently finds himself at the intersection of media, technology, and marketing.
Fenton resides in New York with his amazing wife and daughter. He has never met a brownie he didn’t like.
